Hi everyone

Just got back from Anime Expo 2009 in Los Angeles, California. We had a great time No selling at this convention, there's just way too much to do XD Here's a quick recap of all the things we did over the past few days...

~ Day 1 --> We cosplayed as Hikaru and Kaoru in their Cheshire cat costumes. These characters are from Ouran Host Club, and we had a lot of pictures taken. We went shopping in the dealer's hall, stopping first by the wonderful people at Parthenon Production Company, and picked up some great new Naruto Shippuuden gengas Then, we walked around Artists' Alley, which we felt, had a great variety of products. We picked up a few prints, cute vocaloid earrings, wooden stand-up anime character figurines, keychains, buttons, badges, and a giant canvas watercolor of Minato and Naruto. Though, for that last one, we had to go to the UPS store to ship it back home We got interviewed too, which was cool. Of course, we headed to the arcade for some Para Para Paradise, and ran around to all the photoshoots for the day.

~ Day 2 --> We cosplayed as Zero and Kaname from Vampire Knight. We hit a lot of panels that day, starting with "You too can travel to Japan" which was very interesting as it talked about the reality about planning a trip to Japan. We also hit the "Viz - Anime / Manga" panel, the "Anime Trivia Show," and "Anime Openings / Endings" and how they've evolved. There were lots more photoshoots that we caught up with as well, and did another quick sweep through the dealer's hall. Ooo...and it was fun sitting at Denny's with a cup of coffee and a sundae XD We also caught a bit of the AMV contest later that night.

~ Day 3 --> We cosplayed as Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto Shippuuden. First off, a round of Air Hockey and some Para Para. Air Hockey, we left tied at 1 a piece, only next year will determine the winner XD
Then, we headed off to the Naruto photoshoot which is always a blast XD After that, it was "Funimation's Industry Panel" & "Artist's Alley Feedback Session," More photoshoots in the afternoon, and another trip through Artist's Alley. We went over to the CrunchyRoll stand, got a free t-shirt for cosplaying as Naruto characters XD Later that night, it was time for the Masquerade, and we even got interviewed for AX Backstage XD After the show, we went back to play Para Para Paradise and started to do some v-logs. So, hopefully, we'll be able to figure out how to put them up and show you guys soon

~ Day 4 --> Check out day ^^ But we still had time to see some things "Convention Feedback Session" then, back to Para Para (being that we won't play it again until next year's Fanime ), then a quick stop for some ice cream with sprinkles, then it was off to the art auction, and the charity auction, which are always a lot of fun and interesting to see what people will bid for items and signatures. Overall, we had a great time, and it was just the thing to help break away from the daily grind of life ^^

That's a wrap, at least for this year's AX....coming up this weekend, we're off to Tokyo in Tulsa, (Oklahoma, not Japan )
